This air induction kit is put together by Stang-Aholics for the classic Mustang coyote Gen 1 & 2 Engine swaps. The kit has features a polished aluminum 4 inch tubing for a clean appearance under the hood and excellent air flow to the Coyote engine. The cone shaped air filter allows for excellent air flow and tucks neatly between the engine and the driver's side engine bay panel. The kit also comes with a polished air filter shield to reduce the effects of hotter air from the engine and also to block any air flow disruptions that may occur because of puller electric fans at the radiator.

We Recommend this air intake kit to be used with a custom aftermarket tune and not the stock engine tune. The kit does include reducer tubes to size down the diameter at the inlet and outlet of the mass airflow sensor. Or you can keep the 4" Diameter and upload a custom tune for even bigger horsepower gains from your naturally aspirated 5.0 Coyote engine. This air intake kit is not a direct fit and may/will require some modifications but is designed to be used with the 5.0 Coyote stock throttle body. The mass airflow tube does include step-down tubes to reduce the diameter to be closer to stock, however, we still recommend only using this with a custom tune. We have used this air induction kit with 4-inch diameter tubes (no reducers at the MAF Section) and a custom tune with excellent horsepower gains! ***IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTE FOR GEN 3 COYOTE MOTORS: The Gen 3 Coyote V8 engine (2018-Up) has a highly sophisticated engine management system. To allow the system to function properly, the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor must have a smooth, linear flow of intake air. To achieve this, in addition to this air intake kit, A fully enclosed airbox may be necessary for any Coyote swap involving a Gen 3 Coyote Engine.
