Borgeson makes direct replacement steering assemblies for 79 - 04 Mustangs. The factory rag joint is eliminated in all assemblies giving additional header clearance. They offer assemblies with or without vibration reducers. They also offer 79 - 93 assemblies in aluminum for added vibration reduction. The precision needle bearing u-joints give a great positive feel to the steering with no backlash or radial play. Borgeson has a 5 year warranty on their steering shafts and they are proudly made in the USA!
