1965 - 1967 Mustang Integral Power Steering Conversion Kit for 200/250 Inline 6 Cylinder Engines with stock Manual Steering.

1965-1966 Mustang Complete Power Steering Conversion Kit. Fits 65-66 and EARLY 67 Mustangs With Manual Steering And 200/250 6 Cylinder Inline Engines. Includes All Necessary Components For Conversion. Includes All Necessary Components For Conversion. This new modern power steering box will eliminate the excess play in the steering system by removing the old original steering box, power ram and leaky control valve. By eliminating all these old components, this new box will provide true integral power steering without the play and vague feeling in the steering system all to common with the original old power assist components. This kit will make your classic Mustang fun to drive and feel more on par with a modern vehicles steering system! The integral power steering box in this kit now has a sport 14:1 ratio for quick crisp steering response. Kit comes with new shaft and rag joint with hardware to use your original Mustang steering column. NOTE: Please see Technical Notes for Installation Requirements.

Stang-Aholics now offers an integral power steering conversion for your 1965-1970 Classic Mustang. The conversion box is a re-manufactured MODERN integral power steering gearbox. The integral power steering gearbox provides true modern power steering feel, feedback and a sporty 14:1 quick steering ratiobox. Borgeson has re-manufactured this box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm without any interference or modification of the shock tower. 1965 through early 1967 Mustangs will require a replacement column shaft (Supplied in Kit). Cars with factory power steering will require either a drag link adapter or a manual steering center link (Included in the kits). Eliminate your leaky control valve and feel the road with a new integral power steering conversion kit!
 
IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTES: Non-Power steering cars will need the double groove crank pulley to run the supplied power steering pump. Kit will fit 1967 Mustangs with a 1-inch pitman shaft. See addtional crank pulley needed on this page if car is Non-Power Steering. 
Will not fit manual transmission cars with factory equalizer bar. The equalizer bar would need to be modified to clear the lines going into the new box.
