1965-1973 Mustang JBA Long Tube Headers are the number one choice for maximum performance gains and high RPM efficiency. These headers are designed specifically for the Borgeson Integral Power Steering box conversions in the classic Mustangs. The Borgeson steering box dimensions are different than the stock steering box, so these headers will provide the clearances needed for the new box. NOTE: See Technical Notes Below for important installation information.These headers will work with 65-73 Mustangs that have 289 and 302 Engines and 71-73 Mustangs with 351W Engines.Will not clear in 65-70 Mustangs with 351W Engines.

After the installation of a Borgeson Power Steering Conversion Kit, you may run into header clearance issues. Not to worry, JBA's long tube headers are created specifically to clear the Borgeson setup while providing a fantastic boost in performance and sound. This set of headers will fit your 1965-1970 Mustang equipped with the Ford factory small block engines; 260, 289, 302. These will only fit 71-73 Mustangs with a 351W engine block.

The stainless steel construction already resists rust, but JBA coats the headers with silver ceramic coating to help contain heat and provide great aesthetics. With the ceramic coating, you don't have to worry about the finish flaking off or discolored metal. All the required hardware is included as well as high-quality gaskets so you don't need to make any trips to the local automotive parts store. JBA's long tube headers have 3/8" thick flanges which resist warping due to the heat. The flanges are CNC laser cut to ensure a perfectly flat surface so your cylinder heads seal perfectly against the headers. 1-5/8" diameter mandrel-bent stainless steel tubes increase exhaust gas flow for a great improvement in power. JBA's patented Firecone collector merges individual cylinder exhaust gases without interrupting flow and velocity.
As with all JBA performance headers, you'll witness increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM range. Improved throttle response will make your Mustang a joy to drive. These long tube headers will help the engine breathe and increase fuel economy due to increased efficiency. To top it all off, these headers will look great under the hood of your 1965-1973 Mustang.
