87 - 89 Fox Body Mustang Classic Update Wire Harness Kit

The new Classic Update full vehicle wiring system for modified 1987-89 Ford Mustangs
is perfect for enthusiasts who are building a high performance ride, but want all of the
fundamentals of the car to function without the headaches associated with modifying the
factory wiring harnesses.

Our Foxbody Mustang kit is only recommended for MODIFIED vehicles. This harness is
not intended as a direct replacement for OEM wiring.

The 1987-89 Ford Mustang Classic Update Kit includes the following:
? Fuse box with mounting plate to accommodate early and late mounting locations.
? 175 amp Mega Fuse Kit.
? New CONNECTORS for:
o Headlight switch
o Hazard switch
o Ignition switch
o All 3 column mounted multifunction switches
o Brake light switch
o Neutral safety switch
o Blower switch
o Blower resistor
o A/C pressure switch
o Washer pump
o Headlights
o Turn signals (front and rear)
o Brake lights
o Reverse lights
o Front corner lamps
o New door jamb switches with connectors
? New Ford TERMINALS for:
o Wiper motor
o Fog lamp switch
o Instrument lamp rheostat
o Blower motor
o A/C panel illumination
o A/C mode switch
o Rear defrost switch
o Rear defrost module
? Supports power windows and locks when factory door harnesses and crossover harness are retained.
? Aftermarket gauge connection kit. This kit does not currently support the use of stock gauges.

The kit requires that the customer RE-USE or SOURCE the following connectors from an
original dash harness and rear body harness from any 1987-93 Mustang, as these connectors
are not available.
? A/C mode selector
? A/C illumination lamp
? Blower motor
? Defrost module
? Defrost switch
? Fog lamp switch
? Instrument dimmer rheostat
? Wiper module (with terminals)
? Wiper motor (2 connectors)
? Firewall grommets
? Rear corner marker light sockets (with terminals)
