This AOD Conversion Kit Includes the Following Components:

Trans-Mount Insulator
Slip Yoke
Kick-down Cable
Flexplate, 164 Tooth, 28 Ounce.
AOD Shift Linkage that allows you to use your classic stock shift lever to keep that classic look.
Perfect for up to 500HP and street tires (if you have more HP and race tires you can upgrade to the 1350 size and upgraded U joint-please call us for this option)
California Pony Cars (CPC) AOD conversion kit DOES NOT include actual AOD transmission and may require additional parts.

IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTES: 5 BOLT ENGINE BLOCK WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS CONVERSION YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A 6 BOLT BLOCK. UNLESS A CUSTOM SPACER ADAPTER IS MADE TO MAKE IT WORK WITH A 5 BOLT BLOCK.
TORQUE CONVERTER HEIGHT DIMENSION NEEDS TO BE 0.850 FOR FLEXPLATE TO FIT PROPERLY.

RECOMMENDED 1989-1993 MUSTANG AOD TV CABLE TRANS OR 1994-1995 FORD MUSTANG AODE TRANSMISSION AND NOT FROM A FORD TRUCK.
IF USING 1996 AND UP AOD-E "CAR" TRANSMISSION, THIS KIT WILL WORK BUT THE TRANS WILL NOT REQUIRE THE LOKAR KICK DOWN CABLE.
