Converting the stock front suspension of your 1967 - 73 Mustang to coil-over shocks is now a simple bolt-on procedure with the Total Control Products Bolt-In Coil-Over Shocks. Double Adjustable Shock has 256 Positions of adjustment to fine tune the ride.

  • DOUBLE adjustable coil-over shocks - adjustable Dampening and Rebound. Good for racing/performnace applications where fine tuning of the suspension is needed.
  • Works with the TCP shock tower brace
The TCP exclusive modular shock-tower-adapter system and spherical-stem assembly gives you a choice of stock or lowered ride heights. The tower adapter and lower crossbar replace the factory shock mount and lower spring perch respectively. Lightweight billet-aluminum VariShock coil-overs offer 256 position adjustment and provide 7-1/2" of suspension travel. Choice of spring rates range from 450 to 850 lb/in., suitable for street-friendly ride quality to larger-vehicle handling performance. A second set of different rate springs can also be selected as an option for tuning purposes.
Kits include: Shocks, springs, tower adapters with reinforcement plate, mounting hardware, and spot weld removal tool. (Upper Control Arm Is NOT Included; Only pictured for display purposes)

Technical Notes

KIT OPTIONS (Ride Height and Spring Rate):

You will need to choose how much you want to drop your car in the front and what spring rate you would like

  • Zero Offset Upper Shock Mount Adapters - Sets front to *Approx. 1" Lowered ride height
  • 1" Offset Upper Shock Mount Adapters - Set front to *Approx. 1.5" - 2" Lowered Ride height

*Things like vehicle weight, engine, hood, battery, spring rate, etc. effects ride
height these numbers represent approximate changes to ride height only

Spring Rates: In general, normal street performance spring rates would be 450# for Small blocks and 550# for Big Block cars.
