1964 - 1965 Mustang K Code 289 HiPo or 1965 - 1966 Shelby GT350 Engine Mount Kit

This Complete kit includes everything needed for a 1964 - 1965 "K" code 289 HiPo Mustang or 65 and Early 66 Shelby GT350. The First generation 289 HiPo Mustangs and Shelby GT350s were too powerful for the standard V8 Mustang motor mounts so the factory equipped them with a robust motor mount design to handle the extra load. Concours reproductions of these extremely rare motor mounts are now available from Stang-Aholics. The architecture of these motor mounts is significantly stronger than standard V8 Mustang mounts and offers superior resistance to engine "lift" under hard acceleration. The through-bolt design eliminates the risk of tearing or ripping the rubber isolator.
