67 - 68 Mustang Cowl 2.75 Inch Fiberglass Hood

67 - 68 Mustang Cowl Induction Fiberglass Hood. High Quality Hand Laid Fiberglass Hood With Superior Fit. Works With The Stock Mustang Nose Section. Helps To Add Air Into The Engine Compartment Or Provide Extra Clearance For Taller Engines.This hood is made from High Quality Marine ISO Resins and tooling gels which give this hood superior strength and durability. The ISO marine resins are made to withstand the temperature fluctuations of marine applications and will resist any warping and bowing, which can be common with lower quality fiberglass parts. The hood has steel reinforced plates that are encapsulated in the perimeter structure at the hinge mounting points for strength and you can use your stock hinges and bolts. We recommend the use of light tension springs, hood prop rod or light weight gas struts when using this fiberglass hood. We also ALWAYS recommend using the stock hood latch WITH Hood pins installed for safety.

We can cut out the back of the hood scoop at the cowl area, to make the hood completely functional (see product Option).

Cowl Induction Hood For Stock Nose Sections. 2.75 Inch High Cowl Scoop. This is a measured from the top of the hood surface to the top of the scoop.  
 
Other Dimensional and Clearance Measurements: 
Cowl Scoop Width is: 21 Inches
Cowl Scoop Starts to Gradually Decrease in Height at:  31 Inches (measured from the back edge of the hood) 
Height Clearance of Scoop (From the Under side) is: 4.5" When measured from surface of perimeter bracing. (See addiontal product pictures) 
 
Hand Laid Fiberglass Glass With Very Good Fit. Hood Hinge mounting points have steel reinforment plates made into the hood with the holes drilled and tapped for the stock hood hinge bolts. Made from High Quality Marine Resins and Tooling Gels to provide excellent strenght and longevity. We Recommend To Use Hood Pins On ALL Fiberglass Hoods for safety!!
