Currie Notchback Housing – 100% new, 9-inch heavy-duty notchback replica housing, built to resemble the original factory K-code rear end housing, minus the ugly fill plug

Swedged Axle Tubes - Replica swaged axle tubes made from strong .188 wall DOM tube eliminate the bending issues associated with the OE rear ends. The tubes are swaged from 3-inches down to 2.250-inches to keep that classic appearance

Spring Pads - Heavy-duty replica spring pads are located at the stock location, for a direct bolt-in fit

ADDITIONAL INSTALLATION NOTES: 

This housing can be used with all new Currie 9-inch 3rd member, axles and brakes, or any  9-Inch 3rd member.

Also, since it is the correct factory width, you can use your original 1966 Mustang's 8 inch or 9-inch rear end axles and brakes!

3rd Member Note: If upgrading from an OE 8-inch rear end (typically the case), a new 9-inch 28-Spline Third Member will be required to complete the installation. 

This housing is not intended for Concourse level restoration projects, as the weld appearance (ours look much better), vent location, and style differ from the original equipment. Additionally, we've eliminated the ugly fill plug from the rear cover!
