This Detroit Speed designed rear Mini Tub kit will all you to put large rear wheels in the back of your 65 66 67 68 69 or 70 Ford Mustang. This will include tires as wide as 315 MM for the 64-68 Mustang and 335 MM section width for the 1969 - 1970 Mustang. These new rear inner wheel housings that come with the kit are approximately 2.5 inches wider than the stock inner wheel housing and are stamped from sturdy 18 gauge steel that will look factory once installed. The new frame section supplied in the kit will replace the section of rear frame in the classic Mustangs that angles outward the rear tires. The new frame rail section comes with everything needed to install, including the doubler reinforcement plates that provide superior strength and reinforcement at the frame rail section welded seams. This DSE Mini tub kit only changes the inner rear wheel house and frame section to keep the classic Mustang outside rear quarter panel and wheel house opening unchanged for a completely stock appearance from the outside. No large and unsightly quarter panel rear wheel flares are needed with this kit!
