Custom fit Transmission Crossmember for late Model Transmission Swap in 65-73 Mustang
If you are swapping a late model Ford Engine (5.0 Coyote or other Modular Engine) and Transmission into your classic Mustang this crossmember will give you maximum flexibility for the job. It is sized to directly fit 64-70 Mustangs with a maximum width of 29 inches. The cross member and frame brackets ship as an unassembled weld-together kit, allowing the ultimate in flexibility when positioning your late model drivetrain in your classic Mustang.
Also, included with the crossmember kit is the Late Model Ford Transmission adapter. This sturdy welded-steel and powder coated bracket mounts directly to the three-bolt pattern of the 2005 and Newer Mustang transmissions (Manual or Automatic), enabling the use of the included polyurethane insulator mount. The insulator mount will bolt right to the two bolt platform on the main transmission cross member. The transmission cross member can be easily secured into place and removed with the two included bolts that attach the cross member to the weld-on frame rail brackets. Main transmission crossmember is made from study 1-1/4 inch diameter tubing.

This weld-in Transmission crossmember from Stang-Aholics, LLC has been developed and sized to directly fit 65-70 Mustangs with a maximum width of 29 Inches. The main crossmember ships unassembled as a weld-together kit, allowing the installer the ultimate in flexability when position the late model drivetrain in a classic Mustang. By rotating the 1.25 Inch diameter bent crossmember tube prior to installing and welding the billet tube end adapters the drivetrain angle is adjustable with a maximum drop of 4 Inches depending on the angle of the tube. Additionally, the weld-on frame rail brackets can be positioned as needed along the length of the factory Mustang frame rail to easilty accomodate late model transmissions of various lengths.
