TCP G-Link Canted 4 Link Rear Suspension Kit with Mini Tubs for 64-70 Mustangs

This Canted 4 Link Rear Suspension Kit for 64-70 Mustangs from Total Control Products is designed to maximize the rear wheel and tire combination in your Pro-touring classic Mustang. The relocated lower control arm position to the inside of the rear frame rail, and the offset rear frame rails both provide the extra room in the rear of your Mustang. This combination will provide approximately 2-3/4 inches of additional clearance on each side of the vehicle when compared to the original leaf spring rear suspension! The offset frame rails and upper cross member included in the kit will also help to improve chassis stiffness in the rear of your classic Mustang. The better rear clearances will allow you to run a 315-335 rear tire in the back of your Classic Mustang without any rear quarter panel flares or modifications to your Mustang's outside sheet metal! Also, you can provide your own narrowed Rear 9 Inch housing OR get a brand new 9 inch housing with the 4 link brackets already weld-on. SEE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE FOR SUGGESTED FAB9 HOUSING.

The TCP rear Mini-Tub Canted 4 Link g-Link rear suspsnion further broadens the performance application range of the TCP g-Link suspension series to include modern pro-touring builds with substantially larger tire and wheel sizes.

The relocated lower control arm position provides approximately 2-3/4 inches of additional clearance on each side of the vehicle when compared to the original leaf spring suspension, with an outside lower axle bracket with of only 39". This will easily allow your Mustang to run 315-335 section width rear tires. The included offset frame rails also improve chassis stiffness and maximize clearance. For use with our vehicle-specific bolt-in FAB9™ housing or Mustang's existing 9 Inch housing (weld-on bracket installation required).

Adjustable Geometry
The Upper and lower suspension link mounting brackets included in this 4 Link, feature multiple positions to adjust chassis anti-squat and optimize vehicle handling. Upper links are double length adjustable to set pinion angle and suspension preload if needed. The pivot Ball tubular g-Link lower arms are also adjustable for wheelbase variations and precise housing alignment.
Please Note: The Billet Lower Control arms are fixed in length and will NOT provide any adjustment for wheelbase variations or rear housing alignment.

Adjustable Upper and Lower Shock Mounts
Billet aluminum double shear lower shock mounts bolt directly to the back of the lower control arm bracket and provide up to 4-1/2 inches of ride height adjustment. The three-position upper shock mount allows additional ride height adjustments, AND the ability to provide increased stiffness for improved cornering or softer ride without have to change our your rear springs to a different spring rate!


 

Offset Frame Rails and Inner Mini-Tub Option:

Your Mustang may already have rear mini-tubs installed. For this reason we offer our mini-tub set and offset frame rails as options for this Wide Tire g-Link rear Suspension. However, keep in mind, the fully-boxed rails in our kit provide 2-3/4 inches of additional clearance and a significant increase in strength over modified factory rail channels.

Lower Control Arm Options in Suspension Kit:


-Tubular Adjustable End Lower Control Arms

Tubular-steel construction and length-adjustment feature of this lower control arm make this lower control arm option the correct choice for the highest levels of performance with precise rear tuning requirements and rear aligment.

-Billet Non-Adjustable End Lower Control Arms

The fixed-length billet aluminum lower control arm option gives your Mustang that added custom touch when peeking through the rear wheels. Make no mistake though, the lighter weight pocket-milled design is plenty robust for the meanest of street machines.
**Keep in mind these lower control arms do not have any wheel base or alignment adjustments since they do not have an adjustable length like the Tubular Arms.
