64 - 70 Mustang and 67-70 Cougar Convertible TCP Weld-in Subframe Connectors

These connectors designed for the CONVERTIBLE models only are constructed from 1-5/8 x .134 inch wall round tubing and designed to tightly follow the contour of the undercarriage AND clear the lower reinforcements pans. Since these subframes hug tight to the floor, they visually blend well with the factory subframe rails. The attaching ends of each connector are completely sealed by the 7 gauge form sheet metal mounts for a finished and clean appearance. Both front and rear mounts extend to the height of their respective attachment points to place the securing weld at the strongest point of the factory subframe. Mounting holes are predrilled for the simple installation of our available connector supports.

Installation Note: These subframe connectors do come already finished in a Show Quality BLACK Powder Coated Finish. To prepare the ends for welding to your floor, we recommend you remove some of the coating finish right at the edges of the end contact points to make a clean weld to your Mustang's floor.
