This Neutral Safety Switches and Wiring pigtail prevent a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission from starting while not in park. This neutral safety switches can also be used to mount a backup light switch, with a separate circuit. This Safety Switch does not work with gear shift indicators mounted in the same position.
