64-73 Mustang Wilwood Compact Brake Master Cylinder, Black, 7/8 Bore

Master cylinders with pushrods are generally intended for manual brake use and are available in two unique finishes, ball burnished (Polished) or black E-coat.

This compact master cylinder is great for applications with Tight clearances between the firewall and engine (Modular Engine swaps or Big Block Engines) or Mustangs where Power Brakes are hard to package with a stock style booster or because of a lack of engine vacuum. 

This Master Cylinder Kit Has the Following Features/Benefits: 

• Compact Master Cylinder (Only 6.55 Inches Overall length), features the latest in Design and fluid control
• Designed for mount flanges from 3.22” to 3.40”, which match the 64-72 factory manual master cylinder mount
• Has fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore
• The stroke is set at 1.10 inches with a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers.
• Machined from high-pressure die castings, each master cylinder weighs only 3lbs, a 75% weight savings over most cast iron OE type master cylinders!
• Straight-forward and simple installation once the master cylinder is mounted and connected to the pedal, simply connect the fluid lines, bleed the system, and you're finished!
