This unique assembly now makes it possible to install a Ford 8.8 Inch center section into your 9-Inch Rear end Housing. Why would you want to do that? Well, 9 Inch center sections are notorious for having more gear whine during operation. The 8.8 center is also known for being much quieter and more efficient than the 9-inch center section. Now with this ALL-NEW DSE Center section you can simply bolt-in a 8.8 center section to your existing or all-new 9 Inch housing! YES, it really is that simple! The DSE Engineers have now made it possible with this ALL-NEW Patent Pending design.

This rear end GAME CHANGER from Detroit Speed is offered in a complete 3rd Member assembly that will bolt directly into a 9-inch housing with 31 Spline Axles.
The assembly come complete with forged alloy steel carrier bearing caps, a high-strength nodular iron case, high-quality ARP hardware, a heavy duty 1350 pinion yoke, and a 31-spline Eaton Truetrac differential. This center section is designed and built to handle power and deliver it quietly and efficiently to the street!

- Unique patent-pending design uses a tried and true 8.8 gear set, which is quieter and more efficient than standard 9-inch components
- 31-spline Eaton Truetrac 8.8-inch differential
- Assembled with the Following Gear Ratio: 4.10 (We also offer them in 3.08, 3.27, 3.55 and 3.73)
- Internal Oil Channels provide continous lubrication of pinion bearings
- High-strength nodular cast iron case
- Premium ring & pinion utilizing ARP ring bolts with safety wire
- Solid Pinion Preload Spacer
- Forged alloy steel carrier bearing caps
- 1350 forged steel pinion yoke with U-bolt kit
- Threaded jack bolt holes in mounting flange ease case removal from axle housing
- Case includes mounting holes for bolt-on accessories
