Our DynaForce Starter is specifically designed to start high compression engines even in extreme conditions, such as hot days in Death Valley. Although not many race cars are found in Death Valley, it's reassuring to know that our starter has the power to get the job done. The three-horsepower motor is utilized to turn the reduced 4.4:1 gear set, providing excellent torque to the engine's ring gear to start the engine. The armature is balanced during assembly and is guided by two ball bearings, ensuring smooth engagement and thousands of reliable starts. The compact housing is designed to clear most headers and oil pans, and for added convenience, the billet mount can be adjusted to different positions to accommodate tight applications. The assembly is powder coated in MSD red to maintain a great appearance even when installed underneath your car.
